cAMP-PKA SIGNAL PATHWAY IN THE LOWER EUKARYOTES

The review summarizes current data regarding transduction mechanisms by cAMP-PKA signal pathway in unicellular eukaryotes. Conceptions of evolutionary origin of eukaryotic signal transduction systems are developed.
